Loxone Onboarding Guide

To connect Loxone chargers, you will need access to the Loxone Miniserver configuration tool.

  1. In the Tap app: Locations > connect new charger

  2. Select ETAPpro.

  3. Copy the URL provided.

  4. Open the Loxone Miniserver configuration tool.

  5. Add an OCPP Server Connector within the Network Periphery.

  1. Open the newly added OCPP Server Connector. Navigate to Settings > Server Address, and paste the URL you copied from Tap.

  2. Select the new ‘Charging_point_1’ and rename this to TapElectric.

  3. In the new charger, navigate to Settings and enter your desired Charging point ID.

  4. Connect the newly created API Connector (AC) to the Loxone Wallbox and the NFC Code touch.

  5. Set the Authentication on 4 = OCPP.

  6. Return to the Tap app. After a minute the charger should appear and you can proceed with onboarding.
