Onboarding in this context means getting the charger communicating with Tap's charger backoffice. If you are looking for a complete guide for setting up an account and configuring your locations, see our Quick Start Guide.
To connect Hager chargers, you will need access to a Hager account with the Hager web portal.
1. Log into your Tap account and navigate to the Chargers-section within the web portal.
2. Select "Connect new chargers". Select Hager from the ensuing list, and copy the OCPP url that is displayed in the following screen.
3. Open the Hager web portal and login with your Hager credentials.
4. Navigate to "Charging Stations", and click on the toggle button at the top right to activate the external CPO-feature:
5. Open the CPO settings:
6. Select TapElectric and fill in the aforementioned OCPP url under Custom ID, then click on Next to go to next step. Keep in mind that the base url is already selected; you are only required to fill in your unique account reference.
7. Select the charger that you want to connect to your Tap account, then click on Next to go to next step:
8. Register the OCPP ID you want the charger to be named within your Tap account, then click on Connexion to connect to Tap:
9. Wait until a successful connection has been confirmed by the blue icon popping up.

11. In the Tap web portal, please navigate to Locations > connect new charger. Select Hager again. You should now see the charger displayed in the list with available chargers.
12. Select the charger, and click on Continue. You can now proceed with the rest of the onboarding.
