Activating and Deactivating your Tapkey

Activating your new Tapkey
When you order a subscription with a Tapkey, you will receive a letter in the mail containing you key. When the key arrives, it is not yet active. To activate your key:
- The letter has a QR code printed on it. Scan the QR code to get started.
- If you lost the letter, or the QR code is not working, open the app and navigate to Profile > Tapkey charge cards > Activate my Tapkey.
- Enter the ID on the front of your Tapkey and confirm. Make sure to include the dash "-" in the ID.
You're all set! Your key is ready to use.
Deactivating and replacing a Tapkey
If your Tapkey was lost or stolen, you should deactivate it immediately and order a new one. You can do this in the Tap app.
- Profile > Tapkey charge cards
- Select the Tapkey you wish to deactivate.
- Click "Deactivate and request a new Tapkey".
- You will need to confirm that you still live at the address associated with your subscription. If you have moved, you can update this address by navigating to Profile > Subscriptions > Edit address.
Your old key is now deactivated and we will ship a new key straight away.
