How does Tap invoice me as a driver?

Tap Electric sends you invoices based on your subscription status. See all your session costs and charging invoices clearly in the Tap app.

All of your invoices are stored in the app, and available to be viewed or downloaded at any time. This is true for both individual pay-as-you-go sessions, and monthly subscriptions.

Monthly subscription invoices list all charging sessions from that invoice period. PAYGO invoices cover single sessions.

Finding your invoices

To download a copy of any historical invoice:

  1. Profile > Invoices

  2. Select the invoice you wish to download.

  3. Press Download PDF.

You can find all historical sessions listed in the Insights tab.

Why do older charging sessions sometimes appear on current invoices?

Charging sessions sometimes appear on a later invoice due to two main reasons:

  1. Delays in reporting caused by offline charger internet.

  2. Incomplete data from charger operators when transmitting sessions.

To ensures that all sessions are properly accounted for while maintaining billing accuracy, Tap sometimes takes extra time to verify and validate sessions.

Whenever there is an older session on your invoice, you will see a note on the invoice flagging the session as having occured in a different period. The session is only ever billed once - in the period when the session has been both received and validated. In other words, you are never billed for the same session in two periods.
