ProjectEV onboarding guide

Easily connect and configure your ProjectEV chargers to Tap Electric’s free charger management platform with this guide.

Onboarding in this context means getting the charger communicating with Tap's charger backoffice. If you are looking for a complete guide for setting up an account and configuring your locations, see our Quick Start Guide.

1. In the Tap app: Locations > connect new charger

2. Select ProjectEV.

3. Copy your unique URL from the Tap app or webportal.

4. Send this URL to the ProjectEV support team via [email protected], including the charger ID. ProjectEV will ask you ensure the charger is online, and they will point the charger towards Tap's server.

5. Once ProjectEV confirms the URL has been updated, return to the Tap app. The charger should appear and you can proceed with onboarding.
