This guide describes how to onboard waEV-charge chargers with Tap.
Onboarding in this context means getting the charger communicating with Tap. If you are looking for a complete guide for setting up an account and configuring your locations, see our Quick Start Guide.
To connect waEV-charge chargers, you will need to download the waEV-charge mobile app.

In the Tap app: Locations > connect new charger

Select waEV-charge.

Copy the URL provided.

Open the waEV-charge app.

Select Installer Setup.

Select your charger from the device list.

Enter the Access Code found in the back of the charger manual.

Select Advanced Settings.

Select OCPP URL. Paste the URL you copied from Tap.

Select Auth. Key. Enter "NULL".

Reboot the charger.
- Return to the Tap app. After a minute the charger should appear and you can proceed with onboarding.
