How do I edit my location details?

Easily update your location name, address and geocoordinates. Keep your details are accurate so drivers can always find your chargers.

Editing location details

It is good to double check your location's geocoordinates on the map, especially if it is a large property. This makes sure we always show drivers the most precise location possible on the Tap map.

You can find your location's exact geocoordinates by going to Google Maps and right clicking the exact location of the charger.

Once you have checked your location's exact geocoordinates, you can edit your location's address and geocoordinates (latitude & longitude) using either the Tap app or the Tap web portal:

  1. Select 'Manage' on the bottom navigation menu

  2. Find the location you want to edit and tap on its cog icon

  3. Select 'Location details'

  4. Enter your address and geocoordinates

  5. Tap 'Confirm' to save your changes

Web portal

  1. Select location from the left navigation menu

  2. Choose the location you want to edit

  3. Click on 'Other location settings'

  4. Select 'Location details' from the 'Location Settings' menu

  5. Enter your address and geocoordinates

  6. Click 'Confirm' to save your changes


Linking a location to a Connected Account

Not an installer or operator?

Skip this section.

You may have created your customer's location in your (Parent) account. You can easily link it to their Connected Account.

  1. Location > link to connected account

  2. Select connected account

You can also unlink the location and put it back in the Parent Account:

  1. Location > unlink connected account

  2. Confirm
