Onboarding in this context means getting the charger communicating with Tap's charger backoffice. If you are looking for a complete guide for setting up an account and configuring your locations, see our Quick Start Guide.
To connect Alfen chargers, you will need access to an Alfen account in the MyEve app.
1. In the Tap app: Locations > connect new charger
2. Select Alfen - MyEve App.
3. Copy your unique URL from the Tap app or webportal. Note that the manufacturer splits this URL in their app, so you can also copy the URL in separate parts in Tap.
4. Download the following root certificate firmware file and store it on your local drive: digicertrootca-B.fwi
4. Open the Alfen MyEve app and select your charger.
5. In the "Basic" tab, navigate to: Firmware > More options > Browse files
