To connect Snigg chargers, you will need to be physically located at the charger with a laptop and a micro USB cable.
1. In the Tap app: Locations > connect new charger
2. Select Snigg.
3. Copy your unique URL from the Tap app or webportal.
4. Connect the charger to your laptop with a micro USB cable.
5. Open a web browser on the laptop. Enter the URL: http://192.168.123.123
6. Login using the following credentials:
7. Navigate to Backend > Connection. The next step depends on whether you are using a wired (Ethernet) internet connection, or a Tap SIM card.

Select "Ethernet".
βNagivate to Backend > OCPP
Your OCPP ChargeBoxIdentity (ChargePointID) will be pre-filled. Leave this ID as is.
Set OCPP-mode to "OCPP-J 1.6".
In "JSON OCPP URL", paste the URL you copied in the Tap app.
Click Save and Restart.
Return to the Tap app. After a minute the charger should appear and you can proceed with onboarding.

Select "GSM".
Navigate to Network > GSM.
Enter Access Point Name (APN): Tapelectric
Click Save.
Nagivate to Backend > OCPP
Your OCPP ChargeBoxIdentity (ChargePointID) will be pre-filled. Leave this ID as is.
Set OCPP-mode to "OCPP-J 1.6".
In "JSON OCPP URL", paste the URL you copied in the Tap app.
Click Save and Restart.
Return to the Tap app. After a minute the charger should appear and you can proceed with onboarding.
