Compleo onboarding guide

Onboarding in this context means getting the charger communicating with Tap's charger backoffice. If you are looking for a complete guide for setting up an account and configuring your locations, see our Quick Start Guide.

Depending on the model of Compleo charger, it's possible you will need to replace the Compleo SIM card that came with the unit. Reach out to Compleo for information on this.

1. In the Tap app: Locations > connect new charger

2. Select Compleo.

3. Copy the URL provided.

5. Select your specific charger model and select your prefered language.

6. Navigate to Configuration Tools > Quickguide eConfig App

7. Follow the instructions in the PDF to connect the charger to Tap. Where it tells you to enter the backoffice URL, paste the URL you copied from Tap.


8. Restart the charger.

9. Return to the Tap app. After a minute the charger should appear and you can proceed with onboarding.

10. Once the charger is onboarded, navigate to: Charger > Advanced actions > Advanced charger configuration > Read configuration from charger.

11. Update the following settings in Advanced charger configuration:

  • FreeCharging --> set it to false

  • StopTransactionOnInvalidId --> set it to true

  • UnlockConnectorAfterRemoteStop --> set it to true
