Raedian onboarding guide

Easily connect and configure your Raedian chargers to Tap Electric’s free charger management platform with this guide.

Onboarding in this context means getting the charger communicating with Tap's charger backoffice. If you are looking for a complete guide for setting up an account and configuring your locations, see our Quick Start Guide.

To onboard Raedian chargers, you will need access to the Raedian Intaller App.

  1. In the Tap app: Locations > connect new charger

2. Select Raedian.

3. Copy your unique URL from the Tap app or webportal.

4. Open the Raedian Installer App. Create an account and login.

5. Select your model of Raedian charger.

6. Click Connect Wallbox. Enter your PIN code.

7. Ensure the charger location is set correctly.

8. Update the charger firmware.

9. Once the firmware update is complete, click Reset Device. The charger will reboot.

10. Set up your desired internet settings under Connectivity.

11. Open OCPP Profile. Enter the charger's serial number.

12. Enter the URL you copied from the Tap app/webportal. Click Save.

13. Return to the Tap app. After a minute the charger should appear and you can proceed with onboarding. If the charger does not appear in the Tap app within one minute, try rebooting the charger. The charger should then appear in Tap.
