Onboarding in this context means getting the charger communicating with Tap's charger backoffice. If you are looking for a complete guide for setting up an account and configuring your locations, see our Quick Start Guide.
To onboard an Andersen charger, you will need an Andersen EV account and have access to the Andersen EV app.
1. Open your Andersen app.
2. Head to the Settings tab. Select on the Device you’d like to add to your Tap account.
3. Scroll down and click on the “Integrate with Tap Electric” button.
4. Click “Connect to Tap”. This will open a browser window where you can now login to your Andersen account.
5. Select your device(s) that you’d like to add to Tap.
6. Click Authorise
12. Open the Tap app. Navigate to Locations > connect new charger
13. Select Andersen EV.
14. Select Enter Charger ID. Enter the Andersen Charger ID as listed in the Andersen app.
15. After a minute the charger should appear in the list and you can proceed with onboarding.
